Quality Assurance
Based on the requirement of product quality assurance, introduced ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System in 2011, and strictly controlled the whole process according to the quality system management requirements.
Connector Surface Inspection
In order to ensure all connector endfaces are devoid of scratches and free of contamination, video inspection becomes necessary. All SINDA patch leads undergo visual inspection using a 400x magnification optical connector microscope to ensure all end face conditions meet the visual inspection criteria as set out in the relevant Australian/international test standards.
Geometric Inspection
In order to ensure proper physical contact between connectors while mated, ferrule and end face geometry must remain within specification. Maintaining correct connector geometry provides reliable, repeatable mating and helps avoid core and endface damage. DORC non contact optical interferometer is employed to ensure connector geometry requirements are met.
Insertion and Return Loss Testing
Optical inspection is vital for patchcord performance. Light source is launched to the patchcord (Device Under Test, DUT) for the actual Insertion Loss (IL) and Backreflection (BR) measurements. Backreflection is a parameter that measures how much light is back reflected at the connector. Each connector is tested individually for the IL and BR measurement. JDS RM series Backreflection meter is employed for Insertion Loss (IL) and Backreflection (BR) measurements.

Quality optical performance testing is vital for patch lead performance and overall network stability. Test results are included in all SINDA manufactured patch leads.
Environment Testing
Test Item : Temp./Humidity Cycle Test , +85℃ ~ -40℃
1 Cycle : 8hrs , Test Time : 3Cycle ( 24hrs )

※ IL value variation should be within ±0.3dB from during test and at the end of test from the IL value measured before testing (not including connector)
